We were going to talk to someone in customer service about this ordeal. We surely won't be using this 'free' shuttle service again, and I hope they don't treat other people like they treated us, making the excuse that they were short staffed and had other people to pick up/drop off. When we questioned what had taken so long he just kind of shrugged his shoulders.
Well, 3 more phone calls and an hour and 15 minutes later our shuttle showed up driven by a grouchy old guy. Upon reaching the last tee box, we called and requested a shuttle to pick us up and were told it will be there in approximately 20 minutes. We gave him a generous tip, and he left a phone # with us to call from the golf course when we were ready to be picked up. After waiting about 20 minutes, a young man went and got the other shuttle and took us to the course. We arrived and our rooms were ready at 2:00pm, (extremely happy, and grateful for this) however, the shuttle was no where to be found and had gotten crossed up and thought they were picking us up at the golf course at 2:20pm. We had scheduled a shuttle to Manistee National GC to pick us up at Little River at 2:20pm for a 3:00pm Tee Time. 3 of us couples stayed here in adjoining rooms on Saturday 10/03/15.
